When using Slack, an internal messenger used as a collaboration tool, you often encounter situations where you need a specific link during work communication.
It's inconvenient to ask for the link every time, but you can't just avoid asking either. (Or, you could create a Slack bot and ask the chatbot!)
I explained how to organize channels in Slack in the previous post. When it comes to each project, there are bound to be frequently accessed links.
The feature for saving frequently accessed links is called "Bookmarks," and you can create them for each channel. You can even create them in 1:1 DMs! And one more thing. Just like browser bookmarks, you can create "folders" too! Pretty convenient, right?!
When frequently asking the design team for company logo files, you can include a link to the Google Drive folder containing the relevant logo files. Or, if you're requesting image creation from the design team, you can include a link to the image request sheet or a Notion link.
Other examples include including links to team meeting minutes, API documentation links, or planning document links. You can also include test links or links to access solutions.
Available in the free version as well.
The icon is initially saved using the favicon of that link and can be changed to a different icon.
