This guide explains how to write topics and descriptions for each channel in Slack, a collaborative tool.
While the channel name itself might be sufficient in some cases, writing detailed topics and descriptions is beneficial for providing more comprehensive information.

Previously (when the bookmark function wasn't available), we used to write topics with links....It can be considered somewhat similar to bookmarks (although there are differences).

How to Use

1. Click on the name of each channel.

2. Write the topic and description.

• The topic is limited to 250 characters (Korean).
  • The topic is displayed as a header next to the channel name. Hovering over it shows the full text.

• The description is also limited to 250 characters (Korean).
  • The description is not displayed next to the channel name. Therefore, it can only be viewed by pinning it separately or clicking on the channel name.
