This guide explains how to change the language settings in Slack, a collaboration tool used for communication within a company.
When you first install Slack, it sometimes defaults to English (US). (Recently, it seems to default to Korean.)
Available in the free version as well.
Summary: [Preferences] → [Language & region] → Select [Korean] from the [Language] list.
When the language is already Korean: [Settings] → [Language & Region] → Select [Korean] from the [Language] list.
When you change the language, the help documents and settings screens that appear on the web page are also changed to the corresponding language.
In other words, if you set it to English, the help documents and settings screens will be provided in English, and if you set it to Korean, the help documents and settings screens will also be provided in Korean.
It also affects system notifications, Slackbot messages, and join emails.
