This guide explains how to set reminders for your messages or others' messages in Slack using a simple button click, rather than the '/remind' command.
1. Use it to remind yourself when someone assigns you a task or asks you a question, but you can't handle it immediately.
2. Also use it to remind yourself about messages you've sent but can't deal with right away, and want a reminder in a few hours or days.
Available in the free version.
1. Hover your mouse over your message or another user's message.
2. Buttons will appear at the top right of the message.
3. Click the [three-dot button], and then click [Get a reminder for this] which is the third option in the list.
4. Select when you want to receive the reminder from the list.
