Setting Reminders for Messages in Slack

Setting Reminders for Messages in the Collaboration Tool, Slack

This guide explains how to set reminders for your messages or others' messages in Slack using a simple button click, rather than the '/remind' command.

Uses

1. Use it to remind yourself when someone assigns you a task or asks you a question, but you can't handle it immediately.

2. Also use it to remind yourself about messages you've sent but can't deal with right away, and want a reminder in a few hours or days.

  • In short, it's great for setting reminders for things you might forget.
